In 2022 a problem started that I couldn’t launch bf2 at all, not even with the frosty mod launcher, I tried everything nothing would work, till I eventually found a post that had the same problem, he made a custom windows command which forces the game to launch with the mods. I use Frosty since 2020, worked just fine till 2021, I wasn’t able to launch battlefront 2 without the mod launcher, but if I’d remove the mods I was still able to play the in the regular way.
